Do students have homework?
In reading class students are required to read each night for 20 minutes and write a summary on the reading worksheet. Students are also expected to study spelling words and basic facts at home.
What happens if I am absent?
If you are sick for a day or miss a day of school you need to check with each teacher about what you need to make up. If you know you are going to be gone in advance we will try to get your work for you prior to you leaving.
What is the best way to contact teachers?
The best way to contact teachers is through email. Teachers check their email throughout the day and should respond to you by the end of the day.

What can I do to support my child this year?
There are many ways that parents can support their child as they go through the school year. Spelling words should be practiced for the test on Friday and math facts can be reviewed. It is also important to look over your child's assignment notebook each night and initial it.
When does my child have recess?
We have lunch from 12:15-12:35.
We have lunch from 12:35-1:10.
